Postdoctoral Researchers
We invite applications from postdoctoral candidates with experience in varied fields, including developmental biology, molecular and cell biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, evolution, and related fields. A diversity of potential research projects, ranging from evolutionary developmental biology, climate change/ocean acidification, and animal regeneration to evolutionary genomics and animal-bacterial interactions in aquatic invertebrates, are available, but we also are looking for postdocs who are interested in bringing their ideas to the lab.

Graduate Students
The lab also has positions for graduate students (Master´s and Ph.D. levels) who are interested in studying regenerative biology, evolutionary developmental biology, climate change/ocean acidification in marine animals, evolutionary genomics, and animal-bacterial interaction. There are several opportunities within the Universidad de Concepción to fund Master's and Ph.D. students as well as from the Agencia Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo (ANID), including Beca Nacional Magister and Beca Nacional Doctorado, respectively.
Undergraduates
Opportunities for undergraduate projects, either for students from the Universidad de Concepción or other Chilean university institutions, are almost always available. If you have a passion or interest in genetics, genomics, developmental biology, evolutionary biology, molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, or computational biology, please email Felipe and we can discuss it further.
